In My Life - old

one of the reasons why i decided to make a list about movies yesterday was because something really important happened today.

when i "first" came to brazil, my sister was going out with this guy, koki. and he owned a videoclub. it used to be our town's top club.
for what i know he's owned this for what..? 10 years? and through this many things happened... i made most of my closest friends here, i had many marking moments here, and our life was based on this videoclub. classvideo was the name.

my sister broke up with him this year but it's innevitable, he'll always be like family to me. and this videoclub should always be a huge part of many people's lives... it's hard to put this in words, but it was more of a family than a business.

anyways, koki sold the videoclub today, it was a bit weird, the store is empty and everything is gone (except the house). many old custumers came by and it's strange when we go like... "we don't rent movies anymore".

but it's for the best, so we're seeing a big turning point here... the videoclub wasn't paying the bills anymore and people need to move on right? ;)



a new business is coming up :)
